ABOUT THE SHIP
The ship was built in 1991 at Feab Marstrandsverken in Sweden. Originally named “Spirit Of Hennessy” she was owned by the renowned “Maison Hennessy” makers of fine Cognac for over 250 years.
Maybe Sailing acquired the ship in 2016 and after an extensive maintenance period she sailed to London to join a tall ships Regatta that was to last 5 months, the 2017 Rendez-Vous. Blue Clipper was one of only four ships to complete the entire race. Travelling over 10,000 nautical miles via Portugal, the Canaries, Bermuda, USA, Canada and France.
