There are some interesting shots of MIR, Shabab Oman and Capitan Miranda in the opening stages. Also some nice images of Tecla, Pelican of London, Cuauhtemoc and Sedov, the latter stood off for the entire event only finally joining the fleet for the start of the race as the clouds vanished and the day eventually ended in a beautiful sunset.

Shots of MIR, Pelican of London, Kaliakra and Cuauhtemoc. The weather in Falmouth can lead to some difficult but interesting light, the subject often under the shadow of a large cloud. In many of these instances I was able to achieve a more pleasing result by converting the files to Monochrome.
Any of 1991 tall ships race that docked in Belfast, I was part of a youth group crew who sailed on the sir winston churchill.
