Aarhus to Kotka

The Cover shot shows the Russian frigate Shtandart shortly after the race start in 2007.

The pictures in the gallery below were taken at the race start, somewhere off Copenhagen. We had very light winds, sunshine and interesting cloud formations as we watched the fleet drift over the line at the start of the race. A passage of around 600 nautical miles across the Baltic Sea to the port of Kotka in Finland.

There are a couple of nice panoramas and also a shot of the Swedish schooners, Gladan (SO1) and Falken (SO2) sailing together.
