    That was a surreal morning. I was aboard STS Bodrum, the Turkish wooden schooner. I can’t forget the start where the (faster) square riggers piercing through the fog behind us.

      Hi, yes indeed a surreal day. My only access to the ships on the day was to get several day returns on the Isle of Wight ferry from Portsmouth to Fishbourne. I remember they were crowded so I had to stand on the outside deck seats to get some pictures 😀 – It must have been nice for you to be on STS Bodrum
