The Dutch sailing brig MORGENSTER was anchored off Belem, Brazil during the 2025 COP30 conference as part of her summer sailing itinerary. The Greenpeace vessel SEA SHEPHERD FRANCE was also there underlining her interest in the outcome of the conference and their particular interest in protecting the environment for future generations. Onboard Morgenster the crew were making preparations to embark on an Atlantic crossing to Holland, a voyage that was to take a total of 34 days at sea including a short stop at Horta on the Ilha do Faial, Azores. We wouldn’t be home for Christmas!
