The Russian full rigger NADEZHDA didn’t show and the Norwegian CHRISTIAN RADICH retired with fishing gear around her prop, leaving WYLDE SWAN and SANTA MARIA MANUELA to compete for the Class A race start. The class B’s were in much the same boat with JOLIE BRISE retiring, leaving BLUE CLIPPER and ETOILE competing for line honours.
