ABOUT THE SHIP
Owned and operated by the Tall Ships Youth Trust, the brig Stavros S Niarchos was a British tall ship and sister ship to the Prince William, she was sold in 2017 and has now been renamed “Sunset”. Built in Germany and fitted out in the United Kingdom, the ship was primarily designed to provide young people with the opportunity to undertake voyages as character-building exercises, rather than pure sail-training.
