The video shows “Morgenster” homeward bound on a voyage from Santa Cruze de Tenerife to her home port of Den Helder, Holland in 2017.
The resulting video clips were mixed together with some stills taken of the ship in her early days as a trawler and also some photos taken during her refit as a sailing brig. Sincere thanks to the shanty’s singers “Hooks and Crookes” from Waterford, Ireland and the Dutch Zinkzand Band who created and performed the “Pirate Blues” music
