ABOUT THE SHIP
The Barquentine ROYAL HELENA, launched in 2009, was based in Varna, Bulgaria, with the Black Sea, Istanbul, the Sea of Marmara and the Eastern Mediterranean as her main operating areas. She was acquired by the Dominican Navy in August 2018 and has been renamed “JUAN BAUTISTA CAMBIASO” in honour of the Admiral of the same name, founder of the Dominican Navy 1844.
