Antwerp 2010

The Cover shot shows the crew aloft setting sail onboard the Norwegian full rigger SORLANDET

The pictures in the gallery below were taken in the port of Antwerp and offshore just before the start of the race to Aalborg. We had no wind to speak of and the start had been delayed but despite the flat calm there was some good cloud cover and interesting light to work with.  Unfortunately on our chase boat a few people began to feel seasick and our skipper decided on an early return to port. During the race the fleet experienced some very high winds on their way to Aalborg in Denmark, a journey of around 650 nautical miles.
