ABOUT THE SHIP

The Polish sail training ship “Dar Mlodziezy” or “Gift of youth” in English, was designed by Zygmunt Choreń and built at the Gdansk shipyard in Poland. Launched in 1981 she came in to service in 1982. This seriously impressive full rigger has 5 sister ships, MIR, DRUZHBA, PALLADA, KHERSONES and NADEZHDA.
